Algae Inhibitor for Ornamental Ponds
Unlike other products on the market used to clear algae from ponds, Dyofix Pond Black does not contain any harmful or toxic chemicals such as herbicides, algaecides or bactericides.
Within minutes of applying the product, the pond water is coloured black, instantly masking any suspended green algae and creating a mirror like finish to the surface.
Algae requires ultra violet (UV) light to grow. Dyofix Pond Black is a perfect barrier to deflect all light, including UV light, halting the growth of existing algae and formation of new.

Dyofix Pond Black can be used in a wide range of ponds, from just a few millimetres to several metres deep and serves as an ideal backdrop for flowering aquatic plants.
Ponds treated with Dyofix Pond Black do not pose a threat to insects, visiting wildlife or fish. Anything below the water's surface cannot be seen so we suggest that Dyofix Pond Blue should be used in ‘fish ponds’.
