Natural colour algae prevention for large ponds and lakes
DyoFix Lake Shadow
This product has been specifically formulated for clients that have an algae and weed problem in their lakes and ponds and demand a more natural colour as an alternative to the Dyofix Pond Blue. Many are concerned about using DyoFix Pond Blue and fear being left with an un-natural "Blue Lagoon", this will only happen when too much product is added to ponds and lakes.
DyoFix Lake Shadow, as it's name suggests, creates an artificial shadow within the water to halt UV light from reaching the bottom, which in turn will inhibit or halt any growth of the dreaded algae.
DyoFix Lake Shadow uses the same tried and tested technology as the other DyoFix products, and are non toxic European Food approved items manufactured from organic sources.
DyoFix Lake Shadow will treat up to 4 million litres of water using 1Kg and is supplied in 100gm Water Soluble Sachets, to make for easier distribution in larger lakes and bring the possibility of treating smaller ponds with minimum mess.
DyoFix Lake Shadow is available in a 50gm pot - each 50gm will treat a maximum of 200,000 litres of pond water. Without having fine weighing scales, we suggest that a level teaspoon should be diluted in a full watering can and introduced into different parts of the pond. Each level spoon will treat up to 15,000 Litres of pond water.
As a rough guide, 4Kgs of DyoFix Lake Shadow are capable of treating 16 million litres of water, approximately 3.2 acres at a depth of 4 feet or 4 acres at a depth of 3 feet.
