On-site application trial – White Rose Water Ski Club

A recent on-site application of Dyofix Pond Blue Liquid was carried out at White Rose Water Ski Club, demonstrating effective large-scale dispersion in a high-movement water environment.

The visit provided an opportunity to assess how the product performs in a significantly larger body of water, with the lake estimated at just under 18 acres and holding approximately 200,000,000 litres. The application also showcased how mechanical water movement can accelerate and enhance dye distribution.

Trial highlight points

During the trial, Dyofix Pond Blue Liquid was applied directly from a boat, allowing for targeted dosing across key areas of the lake. The club team supported the process by taking us onto the water, where the movement generated by the boat’s propeller played a critical role in dispersing the dye.

This method created rapid mixing within the water column, helping the dye spread efficiently across a wide surface area. The visual effect was immediate, with a consistent blue tint forming quickly behind the boat and expanding outward as the water circulated.

Demonstrated in High-Movement Conditions

Unlike static or low-flow environments, this trial highlighted how Dyofix Pond Blue Liquid performs in active water conditions where constant movement is present. The propeller-driven circulation effectively simulated accelerated mixing, reducing reliance on natural wind-driven dispersion alone.

The results confirmed that in larger lakes or commercial watersports environments, application by boat can significantly improve coverage speed and uniformity.
